Dolores Aveiro, mother to football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has slammed the lady who accused her son of rape. The lady, Kathryn Mayorga, accused the Juventus player of raping her at his hotel in Las Vegas in 2009.
She also claimed Ronaldo paid her £290,000 as a way of silencing her after the incident.
Ronaldo has however denied raping her and claimed that what they had that night was consentual.
His mother has also lashed out at Ronaldo’s accuser, saying she ‘didn’t go to his hotel room to play cards’.
She made this known at PR launch in Lisbon where she said:
‘I have confidence in my son when it comes to what happened.
‘When she went there, it wasn’t to play cards. It was to do something. I know the son I have.’
