The royal couple reportedly had £50 pedicures at a five-star hotel in Ascot, ahead of attending a Google summit on climate change that attracted criticism
Prince Harry reportedly joined his wife Meghan Markle for a £50 pedicure at a five-star hotel before delivering a speech on climate change barefoot.
The Duke of Sussex visited Cothworth Park in Ascot ahead of attending the secretive Google event in Palmero, Italy, according to the The Sun.
But celebrities who attended the event early this month were accused of hypocrisy for travelling on private jets, emitting nearly “three tonnes” of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the criticism.
An insider told the Sun: “Harry and Meghan like regular treatments at Coworth and visited recently for pedicures and massages.
“Meghan likes to have the same therapists and a new one has to be supervised by someone she has already approved before they’re allowed to treat her on their own.
“Harry likes getting his feet done and also has massages due to his polo injuries.”
Pedicures at the spa cost £50 while a deluxe massage is £140 for 80 minutes.
The Georgian manor is a popular vacation spot for members of the Royal Family and Hollywood A-listers, including actress Emma Stone and singer Ella Eyre.
Harry reportedly spent his last night as a single man at Coworth Park before he married his wife on May 19 last year.
Those who attended the summit included singer Katy Perry, who arrived with her fiance Orlando Bloom on a £330 million super yacht.
Other guests included Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, who runs his own environmental foundation, supermodel Naomi Campbell, fashion designer Stella McCartney and singer Harry Style.
