Prince Charles on Tuesday honoured Adepeju Jaiyeoba, with a Commonwealth Point of Light award during his visit to Nigeria.
On the Twitter handle of the Prince, @ClarenceHouse, it was revealed that the award was for Jaiyeoba’s work in establishing a foundation that provides delivery kits to women in rural communities.
Jaiyeoba, had in October 2018 been awarded the 2018 Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Award.
The award came with a €50,000 cash as well as tailored one-to-one mentoring sessions for 12 months.
Jaiyeoba is the founder of Brown Button Foundation.
