Just to be clear:
1. These women were never arrested or charged as prostitutes as this is not an offence known to our laws.
2. The FCT operates ACJA 2015 which stipulates that even suspects have a right to dignity.
3. SEX FOR BAIL IS RAPE
4. Okon is clearly a low budget idiot https://t.co/Qo7I79hLzu— Amara Nwankpa (@Nwankpa_A) May 15, 2019
Okon actually did a video talking about the Abuja women and how raping a prostitute is stealing and I'm actually very livid. in Big 2019 you are contributing to Rape Culture.

I don't care if Okon was trying to be funny. What he said in that video was stupid and daft.

Idi ere ni a ti n mo ooto oro. – Yoruba Proverb
You don't hear people like Okon taking jabs at the dignity of men who patronize sex workers. Women are the easy targets of their jokes. This is how you know its not just jokes. It's a culture of victimizing women talking.
