The Jigawa Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps said it recovered over N9,944 debts in the second quarter of 2018.
Its Spokesman, SC Adamu Shehu, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse on Tuesday. Shehu said that the debts were recovered after the command received complaints from aggrieved creditors.
“However, our Peace and Conflicts Resolution Unit had amicably resolved the disagreements between the debtors and their creditors,” Shehu said.
He said that the Corps had handed over the recovered funds to their rightful owners after the resolution of the disagreements.
According to him, the Corps will continue to ensure that residents of the state lived in peace and harmony with one another.
NAN recalls that the command recovered over N2.72 million debts in the first quarter.
