Music producer and singer Cobhams Asuquo has explained what he thinks is the reason why Nigerian songs lack in lyrical content.
Speaking in an interview with Notjustok TV, Cobhams said he doesn’t think it’s anybody’s fault that things are like that.
Nigerians want to de-stress, he said, they want to have a good time and dance, and producers have found a way to concoct amazing beats that allow this.
He also discussed his early days in the industry, and just how often he faced rejection.
