A 50-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl multiples in the UK.
Simon Owoade who has now been sentenced to prison, was arraigned on charges of assault of a child under 13 years by penetration; three counts of making indecent photos of a child and sexual assault of a child under 13 years.
The convict has also earned a spot on the sexual offenders list for the est of his life.
Hillington Time’s reports that Owoade befriended the victim via a social media in 2017.
Owoade finally convinced the victim to meet him in London, in July of 2017. They reportedly met at Poters Bar on Several occassion.
According to the reports, the convict will sexually assault the victim in car parks and hotels.
They reportedly lost touch but later reconnected in April 2018, when Owoade asked to see her, claiming that he missed her.
Owoade and the victim reportedly met several times after that until May 2018, when the case was finally reported to the police by the parents of the child.
Following his arraignment, Owoade was sentenced to 9 years in prison by the Harrow Crown Court.
Police Deputy, Neil john, applauded the victim for speaking to security operatives, which led to the arrest and prosecution of Owoade.
