The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday said Nigeria is passing through difficult times with the recent developments in the country.
He stated that the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen was an attack on the judiciary.
Speaking during a media conference at Abuja, he added that it could precipitate a constitutional crisis which he warned could derail Nigeria’s democracy.
He warned the All Progressives Congress and the Muhammadu Buhari government to stop acts that could truncate Nigeria’s democracy.
He said, “APC should stop actions that could lead to a constitutional crisis that could derail Nigeria’s democracy.”
