He may be one of the greatest players of all time but Lionel Messi isn’t adverse to undertaking everyday tasks like doing the school run.
The Barcelona star isn’t on international duty, and, subsequently, was able to take his two eldest sons, Thiago and Mateo, to school.
Dressed casually, Messi seemed pleased as he spent time with his children in an image he posted on his Instagram account.
The Barcelona star, 31, posted snaps on Instagram of himself with Thiago and Mateo in uniform.
And Mateo, born in 2015, looked a spitting image of his father when he was a four-year-old in Argentina.
Mundo Deportivo report that Messi went to his kids’ school with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, who was on photo duties.
The couple have three sons together after Antonella gave birth to Ciro in March of this year.
Philippe Coutinho is currently in the States with the Brazilian national team but his wife, Aine, posted a snap of their daughter on her way to the same school.
