‘He needs a change’ Robert Lewandowski’s agent insists Bayern Munich striker is desperate to leave this summer putting Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain on red alert, Robert Lewandowski has scored 29 goals in 30 Bundesliga matches this season. The Bayern Munich striker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Robert Lewandowski could be on his way out of Bayern Munich after his agent claimed the striker is in desperate need of a new challenge.
The Bayern striker has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena, with Real Madrid his most likely location but the Bundesliga champions have insisted throughout the season that he is not for sale at any price. Lewandowski has been one of Europe’s most consistent strikers in recent seasons, and after helping Bayern to four consecutive Bundesliga titles, Bild has reported his agent, Pini Zahavi, has claimed he is seeking a change.
‘Robert feels he needs a change and a new challenge in his career,’ Zahavi said. ‘The managers of Bayern know about it.’ Lewandowski has only been working with Zahavi since February, a move that was seen as a real signal of intent that he may be looking to force a move out of Bayern this summer. ‘It is a great honour and privilege for me to represent and care about the world’s best striker,’ he told Borek after joining forces with Lewandowski.

Zahavi, 74, is no stranger to big-money moves either, being involved in the world-record £198million transfer of Neymar from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, reportedly pocketing £30m for his role in the deal. And it is PSG who he could be on the phone to in the not-so-distant future, with the Ligue 1 champions set to battle the likes of Real and Barcelona for the Polish star’s signature. Lewandowksi is a player who comes with a guarantee of goals, having scored 29 Bundesliga goals last season – the sixth time he has managed 20 or more in a single league campaign.
