John Obuh has been dismissed by NPFL outfit Kwara United.
Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit Kwara United have confirmed the sacking of technical adviser John Obuh.
The Kwara State based team confirmed his dismissal with a statement on the clubs official Twitter handle.
The statement explains the decision to sack Obuh was done due to the team’s poor results.
“The management of Kwara United and coach John Obuh have mutually agreed to part ways following the not too impressive performance of the club in the NPFL18,” the statement said.

Obuh led the Kwara based team from the Nigerian National League (NNL) to the first division last season
According to reports former Niger Tornadoes boss Abubakar Bala has been contacted to replace Obuh, although there has been no officially confirmation from the club.
Kwara United are bottom of the NPFL after 12 matches with 11 points, and the clubs hierarchy made the decision after a 1-1 draw at home to El-Kanemi in their matchday 12 fixture.

Obuh becomes the second coach to relieved of his duties this season after Niger Tornadoesearlier sacked their coach Erasmus Onu.
Obuh led the Golden Eaglets to a silver medal when Nigeria hosted the FIFA U-17 World Cupin 2009.
Kwara United travel to play against Kano Pillars in their next NPFL fixture scheduled for Sunday, March 25.
