43 year old Grammy Award winning rapper, businessman and US Presidential Candidate Kanye West has hit out at his wife Kim Kardashian West and her mother Kris Jenner in a series of Tweets.
West, who is continuing his US presidential campaign, doubled-down on accusations that his wife and mother-in-law tried to get doctors to “lock (him) up”, tweeting on Wednesday morning: “They tried to fly in with two doctors to (section) me.”
He then wrote: “Kriss (sic) and Kim put out a statement without my approval… that’s not what a wife should do.”
It is an apparent reference to rapper Meek Mill, with whom Kardashian teamed up for a summit on criminal justice in Los Angeles in November 2018.
The hip-hop star continued: “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform.”
“Meek is my man and was respectful. That’s my dog,” he added.
“Kim was out of line.”
West also accused Jenner of “white supremacy” as he shared a screen-shot of texts he’d apparently sent to his mother-in-law.
The first read: “This Ye, you ready to talk now or re still avoiding my call?”
He then followed up on the unanswered message: “This Ye, you wanna talk or go to war?”
In an interview in 2018, West declared that he became addicted to opioids when they were prescribed to him after he got liposuction. The addiction may have contributed to his nervous breakdown in 2016. West said he often has suicidal ideation. In a 2019 interview with David Letterman, West stated he has bipolar disorder.
