Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Monday allegedly promised Youth Corps members posted to the state N10,000 each for transport fare, and another N5,000 on a monthly basis.
The N10,000 is a one-time lump sum payment, while the N5,000 will be for the entire service year on a monthly basis.
According to Gbenga Olorunpomi, his Senior Special Assistant (Elecrronic Media), who tweeted the information on Monday, Bello also announced a personal donation of N5m to the family of an NYSC Director who died on Sunday night.
