Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit believes Shkodran Mustafi is a liability for Unai Emery’s side.
Germany international Mustafi fouled Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the box, with the England captain eventually converting to secure a 1-1 draw in Saturday’s north London derby.
Speaking after the match, Petit questioned why Mustafi started in such an important game.
“I was surprised to see Mustafi picked for that game because he is after all the king of blunders,” Petit told RMC Sport.
“Even though it shouldn’t have been a penalty because there was an offside, it’s Mustafi who gives away the penalty again.”
