Julen Lopetegui‘s start as Real Madrid coach is among the worst seen in almost 50 years.
With four victories, two draws and four defeats (14 points), Lopetegui is now in the bottom five coaches in Real’s history.
Only five coaches in the history of Real Madrid have lost six of their first 14 league games. The last was Luis Molowny, who coached the Madrid team in 1974 and reached 14 matches with a record of seven wins and seven defeats.
Quirante, Encinas, Keeping and Hertzka were the other coaches to fall short.
