Manchester United fans hoping to see their side lure Eden Hazard to Old Trafford are set for a bitter disappointment, going by the Chelsea star’s latest comments.
Hazard has been a pivotal player for Chelsea since joining from Lille six years ago, but has been the subject of reported to interest from Real Madrid in recent years.
A possible move to United has been discussed, too, with Hazard’s former boss Jose Mourinho looking to turn the Red Devils into Premier League challengers.
But Hazard has dismissed any notion of a switch to Old Trafford, all from the comfort of his barber chair.
The Belgium international was showing off his new hair cut on a live stream on social media and noted a comment urging him to “come to United”, but he immediately waved it away, saying “no chance” before bursting out laughing.
The 27-year-old is contracted to Chelsea until 2020 but is expected to sign a new contract instead of seeking a new move.
Hazard has scored 16 times in all competitions for Antonio Conte’s side, who sit fifth in the league and two points behind Tottenham with two games left to play.
