Bisi Alimi is a Nigerian gay rights activist, public speaker and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out of the closet on television.
The controversial personality in a recent interview revealed that he doesn’t believe in God, adding that he believes in his husband.
His confession has sparked a myriad of views on social media.
“I don’t have any religious belief. I and my husband always have full English breakfast on Sunday morning. I visited a church in Badagry recently because I wanted to give my husband an experience of what it is like to visit Nigeria”, Alimi declared.
On why he believes in his husband than he believes in God, Alimi said: “I believe in him because I can see him, I can touch him and I can converse with him, we can talk about things and make plans for the future”.
