Please read from top to bottom
Just met with one of the Nigerian students who was stranded in Dominica by Hurricane Maria. The FG never even got in contact with them, even after announcing they did.
Abike lied. Statehouse lied. Foreign affairs lied.

Just listening to the harrowing tales of the hurricane experience. Hundreds dead. These kids almost died. Yet their country let them down and lied on top of that.
A shame.

Of course usual suspects were going to defend the FG.
The lies started when Statehouse released a statement that the president ordered the rescue of the students.
He hadn’t. But statement was released to put pressure on FMFA according to senior SH official we reported to.

We still tried to get Mrs. Dabiri. My partner met her in NY, and she assured that the Nigerian Embassy in Jamaica will contact the students (who were at this point having to loot to survive). We kept in contact everyday. No one called, until school and families moved them

If the FG, Mrs. Dabiri or FMFA has any evidence that they helped rescue the students, they should come with it. I have video evidence to the contrary.

It’s really sad if this is true. God help Nigeria!
