Did gun maniac Stephen Paddock have company in his room at the Mandalay Bay before his music festival massacre? A room service receipt purportedly from the Las Vegas Strip hotel is said to have revealed his large appetite and raised questions about possible visitors he may have had before committing the atrocity.

Under guests, it lists two people. Hotel employee Tony Hernandez Armenta reportedly posted the receipt on his Facebook page before later deleting them.mHowever, the alleged receipts show Paddock was in the room on September 27 when police had previously said he checked in on September 28. The alleged receipts show the server was “Antonio” and the “table” listed as 32135 – the room Paddock had stayed in.

The document is also tagged with IRD_MB – which has been claimed to stand for “In Room Dining, Mandalay Bay”. Other screen grabs of Armenta’s Facebook page showed him as listing his job at the hotel. Armenta is said to have claimed he served the food to Paddock in his suite on the 32nd floor. Alongside the pictures, the screen grabs show he wrote in Spanish: “I think I talked to the Mandalay Bay Assassin, and I was alone with him for several minutes. “I have goose bumps knowing that I was his waiter in the same suite where he did the shooting. “You never know who you are dealing with in this job.”

On September 27, Paddock ordered a large meal including a burger for $26, a $10 bagel and a potato soup for $12. The meal was accompanied by $10 1-litre bottle of Pellergrino water and two Pepsis.

The total bill was $84.33 (£63.65).

The receipt photos were copied and posted to Facebook again by Laura Loomer, who is said to be a right-wing investigative journalist. “My source who works at the Mandalay told me Paddock’s reservation began on Sept. 25, all of which proves that Las Vegas law enforcement and FBI aren’t providing accurate information to the public,” she wrote on Facebook.
