In what will come across as a really shocking development, a petrol tanker has crushed as many as five cars on New Year’s eve.
It has been reported that a truck which was carrying diesel has run into some vehicles, crushing them in the city of Lagos.
The incident happened along the Gbagada – Iyana Oworo bridge. The truck reportedly crushed five cars.
According to an eyewitness, no one died but several people were injured.
LASTMA officials who were on ground, confirmed the accident saying, ‘there’s a multiple accident involving a loaded tanker and 5 vehicles at the descend of Gbagada bridge and recovery work is on-going at the moment’.
