Seun Kuti has also joined the trend of Africans, including Nigerians jokingly trying to learn how to climb buildings in case the need arises for them to save babies and get international recognition and rewards.
TORI News had on Monday reported how a 22-year-old heroic Malian immigrant, Mamoudou Gassama, who scaled an apartment building in Paris to save the life of a dangling 4-year-old, met with French President, Emmanuel Macron, who granted him French citizenship and enrolled him as a firefighter in the French fire service.
Meanwhile, Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti, who is the youngest son of legendary afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, has hilariously joined the ‘Spiderman’ trend with the hope of meeting the President of France, getting an award, automatic citizenship and employment.
Seun who leads his father’s former band Egypt 80, took to his Instagram page to share the hilarious photos and captioned them; ‘Let me be the first naija guy to use the new French citizenship application form’.
Recall that photos had emerged online showing how some Africans including Nigerians were replicating the heroic man’s style when he rescued the dangling child from the balcony.
The pictures trending online show some unidentified Africans jokingly trying to learn how to climb buildings in case the need arises for them to become famous and hopefully get international recognition and reward.
