Athletic icon Usain Bolt has arrived Gold Coast, Australia for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Bolt arrives the games without the pressure of participating, as he is now retired.
The 31-year-old still holds the world record in the 100 and 200m athletics sprint events.
Bolt participated at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, where he won a gold medal for Jamaica in the 4x100m relay event setting a games record in the process.

Speaking upon his arrival in Gold Coast, Bolt stated that he is keen to visit the beaches.
He said, “People have said it’s a nice place and the beaches are here so we’ll see if I get to go to the beach.”
Jamaica currently have a combined total of 10 medals and Bolt is looking forward to cheering his compatriots, especially the track athletes.

He said, “I’m excited just to watch and to cheer on and to get just a chance to see it from a different angle.”
“We’re a big track nation so I expect the best from them,”
Before Bolt’s arrival at the games, he showed support to compatriot Yohan Blake after he was controversially awarded the bronze medal in the 100m event ahead of Nigeria’s Seye Ogunlewe.
Upon Bolt’s arrival at the games, he was spotted with the official mascot of the games, and also posted a picture of them together with his legendary lightning bolt pose on his official Twitter and Instagram accounts.
With the sprint individual events done, Bolt will hope his compatriots can do well in the upcoming 4X100 relays events.
The 2018 Commonwealth Games started on Wednesday, April 4 and is scheduled to end on Sunday, April 15.
