Celebrated American based Uganda musician who doubles as a medical doctor one Amos Kigenyi alias Gen Mega Dee seems not to have his return to the ‘Matooke’ land so soon as he has expressed interest in one of the top political positions that is aimed at uniting Ugandans in the States.
After shooting into fame in early 2000s, Mega had his music rock airwaves across the country but rather after a few years of musical success opted to go for further studies in the States- California where he is currently based and established his residence.
Through his official Facebook page, Mega Dee affirmed the decision of contesting as the head for UNAA a body that unites and governs all Ugandan citizens living in the diaspora (America).
“Dear Ugandans in California (SouthPacific2), the GENERAL HAS REPORTED FOR DUTY! Deploy me for a good cause in our UNAA 2019-2021 for We are the change! Let’s look forward to more united Ugandan Community in North America. I thank you.” stated Mega Dee.
