EXCLUSIVE: The former TOWIE star left a crowd of people upset when she revealed why she’d never go back to visit her old workplace
Gemma Collins was repeatedly booed by a live audience as she suggested she was better than her former car dealer colleagues.
The TOWIE star left Celebrity Juice fans with a bitter taste in their mouths as she lived up to her diva reputation by belittling her former work pals and suggesting one of her Dancing On Ice co-stars “stunk of BO”.
Gemma recorded an episode of Keith Lemon’s ITV2 panel show last night, and left fans in the audience booing.
After telling Keith she was done with TOWIE and needed to “move on” with her life, he asked about her old job selling cars.
The host, portrayed by funnyman Leigh Francis, asked if she’d ever go back to visit her colleagues.
And the audience didn’t appreciate it when the self-confessed diva said she wouldn’t go back because it’s “embarrassing” that all her old colleagues still work at the dealership and she’s since found fame and fortune.
Mirror Online was in the audience, which erupted into boos.
Keith awkwardly laughed as the audience turned on the GC, and many of the panel members, including team captain Holly Willoughby, were left with their jaws on the floor after hearing the angry audience reaction.
Gemma tried to backtrack on her comments by saying her colleagues hadn’t “had the same opportunities” she has.
Gemma also went on a rant about her former Dancing On Ice co-star Mark Little, who played Joe Mangle in Aussie soap Neighbours.
As Denise Van Outen talked about filming for the show in Melbourne, Gemma announced she “hated” Mark while they were on the ITV show together.
She said: “I came in one day and said to him, ‘Hi, you alright?’ and he told me to ‘f**k off’. I said to him, ‘Who do you think you’re talking to? I was only asking you if you’re alright’.”
She added: “He stunk of BO as well.”
The audience gasped in horror at what she said and her fellow panelists suggested it was just because he’d been working hard with his training.
Gemma said: “No, whether it was before, after or during training, he stunk of BO.”
Gemma’s new TV show, Diva Forever, has seen fans slam her for her attitude, although she’s been defended by pals including Jonathan ‘Foodgod’ Cheban.
He told Mirror Online: “People should just enjoy her, she’s hilarious.”
Gemma’s representatives did not want to comment when contacted
