A telephone company is offering the chance to talk for free the next time Mohamed Salah scores a goal.
The Liverpool and Egypt winger has been a sensation since his summer arrival at Anfield, delivering 36 goals in all competitions for the Reds this year, and has more than justified the €42 million the Anfield outfit paid Roma for his services.
Salah’s 28 Premier League goals, including his four last weekend against Watford, have him topping England’s charts and have put Liverpool’s all-time single season goalscorer Ian Rush, who once netted 47 for the Reds, in his sights.
But Salah’s next goal could win him even more fans in his home county.
Vodafone Egypt are advertising a promotional offer having just signed Salah to a sponsorship contract.
The next time Salah scores a goal, any Vodafone subscriber who signs up for the promotion will received 11 free minutes added on their plan.
Given Salah’s prolific scoring record thus far with Liverpool, it seems likely Vodafone will be handing out a good amount for free minutes sometime in the near future.
Egypt has two friendlies, against Portugal and Greece, during the international break. Salah will then return to Liverpool when the Reds take on Crystal Palace on March 31, looking to continue his assault on the record books… and delivering free minutes for many.
