Serious drama played out at the Department of Home Science, Nutrition, and Dietetics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka campus earlier today. Some frustrated students in the department this morning planted charms and broken eggs at the general office of the department. Palm frond was also seen tied around the entrance leading to offices and lecture rooms. Names of lecturers were also seen written on the floor. Frightened lecturers and students were seen praying, casting and binding.
A note was seen under the charm saying “SINCE YOU PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO LEAVE US, U WILL DIE HERE WITH US”
Some students claim the charm was dropped off by graduating students whom only 30 out of 80 of them are graduating due to massive failure. Others claim it is those that are having extra years in the department that placed the charms. Others claim it is the third-year students in the department who the lecturers failed woefully during their recent examination that tied the charms.
