COVID-19: US Rapper Slim Thug Tests Positive For Coronavirus ‘Despite Observing Quarantine’

American rapper, Slim Thug whose real name is Stayve Jerome Thomas has tested positive for coronavirus as the number of cases globally passes 440,000.

The musician, 39, took to Instagram to warn others after he fell ill despite following precautions with masks, gloves and “everything on”.

The rapper also said he had stayed in his truck but still managed to contract the deadly virus.

He said:

“So check this out, no games being played.

“The other day I got tested for the coronavirus yesterday and it came back positive. As careful as I been self-quarantine and staying home… I might went and got something to eat or did some simple stuff like that.

“Nothing crazy, stayed in my truck, had masks, gloves, everything on and my test came back positive.”

Slim Thug insisted his fans had to take the killer bug “seriously” by sitting at home in self-quarantine. The rapper urged his following to avoid going outside for as long as possible.
