Barcelona will have to write off €40m if they wish to sell Ousmane Dembele, it has been revealed.
Die Welt says while Barca paid €105m for the Frenchman, the fee will jump to €145m should he meet all objectives set in the original agreement.
However, if Dembele is sold before his deal to 2022 expires, then Barca will be obliged to pay BVB the entire total in bonuses due.
It could mean Barca losing as much as €70m on Dembele’s sale.
Arsenal and Liverpool are keen, though reluctant to go higher than €65m for the France international.
