Arsenal fans are obviously not pleased after Mike Dean was announced as referee for the upcoming North London Derby against Tottenham.
On Tuesday morning, Mike Dean was named referee for Sunday’s eagerly-anticipated Premier League clash at the Emirates, which the visitors head into just three points above their rivals.
Dean has come in for criticism in the past — he has been accused by Arsenal fans of making high-profile mistakes — and supporters were quick to note how he famously ‘celebrated’ a Tottenham goal at the Emirates and against Aston Villa.
Watch below;
Mike Dean is clearly Arsenal’s nemesis and seems to enjoy being the inevitable cause of our downfall.
Here he can’t hide his excitement as he watches the ball bounce into the net for a spurs goal.
This is clear bias. He should have been stopped from officiating our games. pic.twitter.com/pAO4SW2iOO

In 2017, Dean was demoted from officiating Premier League fixtures after a string of big errors at the top level.
And on Tuesday, Arsenal fans took to social media to let their frustrations be known. Dean was accused by many of celebrating Louis Saha’s deflected goal against Arsenal at the Emirates in 2012.
