Arsenal boss Unai Emery has called up Julio Pleguezuelo to first team training this week.
The 21 year-old defender shone for the U23s in Friday’s win over West Ham, scoring in the 3-2 away victory.
Pleguezuelo has had time on-loan with Real Mallorca and Nastic, but is yet to make his senior debut with the Gunners.
The youngster is now inside the final year of his current deal.
Pleguezuelo joined the Gunners five years ago from Barcelona.
