The ongoing political season has provided countless pop culture moments for Nigerian fans, not in the least Dino Melaye’s antics.
The Kogi senator always seems to find time for entertainment despite his legislative duties. Earlier this year, he appeared in a music video with pop singer Kach.
He couldn’t hide from host IK Osakioduwa at the AMVCA who took shots at him as Dino sat in the front row; making fun of his political travails.
“Also here”, IK said, “is Senator Dino Melaye from my favourite movie ’11 Hours In The Wilderness’. He tried music, music didn’t work so he tried movies. Don’t worry, you’ll win next year.”
If the senator took offence, he didn’t show it as he laughed out loud with the audience.
