Alex Iwobi is pleased that Arsenal gave Arsene Wenger a send-off he deserves after 22 years of service.
Wenger took charge of his last game at the Emirates and did so in style by spanking Burnley 5-0 with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting a brace.
Iwobi capped a fine display with a goal thanks to Aubameyang’s assist – his first English topflight goal since January 2018.
Thrilled with the victory, the Nigeria international took to social media to applaud the Gunners for giving the 68-year-old an appropriate send-off.
“This was more than a match! Really pleased we gave you the send-off you deserve. Thank you boss,” he tweeted.

Wenger took charge of the club in 1996 and has guided them to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, although in recent years his record has come under scrutiny.
Before the encounter, the iconic manager was given a guard of honour and serenaded throughout the tie.
Sixth-placed Arsenal travel to the King Power Stadium for their clash with Leicester City before taking on Huddersfield Town on the final day.
