A man said to be a notorious robber who had been terrorizing some residents of Rivers state, has been gunned down.
Photos have shown the young man who was gunned down by SARS operatives after being caught trying to rob and terrorize innocent people who had come out for their daily jobs.
The unnamed suspect was reportedly gunned down by SARS on Tuesday morning in Rivers state. His colleagues however, escaped from harm.
Local reports show that the said suspected robber usually operated around Oil Mill, Eleme Junction and Igbueche Junction. He was killed by SARS Operatives at Igbueche Junction Port Harcourt.
Speaking on the incident, some traders claimed the dead man had been identified as one o the people robbing unsuspecting persons in the area.
“This is one of the Notorious Boys robing and disturbing this area” one of the woman said.
It was learnt that the dead man and his colleagues were in the habit of stealing from drivers, traders, and workers who come out very early in the morning or returned late at night.
