Fashion designer Kate Spade, 55, has been found dead in her New York apartment.
She is said to have taken her own life, US media report.
Details are unclear, but CBS News report that she was found by her housekeeper.
The designer co-founded Kate Spade Handbags in the 1990s, which she sold in 2007.
