Below are pictures showing how Real Madrid and fans celebrated their 13th UEFA Champions League title. The trophy parade took place in Madrid with thousands of loyal supporters of the club turning up to celebrate with their stars.

Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3 – 1 in the final of the 2017/2018 UCL in Kyiv. Kareem Benzema opened scoring after a terrible mistake from Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Karius. Later in the game, Sadio Mane got an equalizer for Liverpool to set the game in a huge tempo.

Substitute Gareth Bale who came in for Isco made a brilliant effort to put Madrid in front again. Later on, another fantastic effort from him sealed the game for the Los Blancos who won their third consecutive UCL title.

There was no sign at all of any trophy fatigue as Madrid’s players and fans marked their historic, third straight UCL victory, and fourth in five years, in some style.

The team were allowed some rest as soon as they arrived Spain early in the morning. But later by 6pm, they party began. The first stop was the city’s cathedral, where Bishop Jesus Vidal thanked the team for the example they set for young people, before club captain Sergio Ramos presented the Champions League trophy to the “Virgen de la Almudena,” the patron saint of all madrileños.
