The only thing Manchester United fans enjoyed more than Ashley Young’s stunning free-kick against Watford last night was manager Jose Mourinho’s bizarre reaction to it. Young, who had already given United a 19th-minute lead with a strike from outside the box, stepped up to dispatch a dipping 25-yard free kick into the top corner.
Mourinho was seen on TV looking bewildered after the ball nestled in the back of Heurelho Gomes’ net – and fans seemed to enjoy his expression.
