Nigerian police at Moroko Lekki N40, 000 from an innocent Nigerian man. At around 1:30am the said man was in a friend’s car when the officers stopped and searched him. Finding nothing on him, the officer decided to handcuff him and drag him to the police station.
The said officer beat this man and extorted the sum of N40, 000 before his release. One can’t help but wonder if the police are supposed to terrorize people or protect them.
