The Covid-19 pandemic has been hard on businesses around the world both small, medium and large even as a recession is eminent. A Twitter user @idahomolly has claimed farmers in Idaho are trashing their potatoes due to fallen demand. He tweeted
Farmers in Idaho are dumping their potatoes. I went to Picabo today to see the discarded pile (and pick up a bagful). Commercial demand has fallen, and there is no market for the extra potatoes
