People have been asking it every day, in every relevant university department I have been involved in for the last 48 years! Malaria is really a far more serious problem than C19. “Pandemic” just means something is widely spread. Malaria kills vastly more people!

They have multiple drugs
The disease progression is well known
Mechanism of action for each drug and their lines are well known
Preventive measures are well known
It is not transmitted by body contact

Okay sis Corona virus is a disease caused by virus.
Typhoid is an infection caused by bacteria.
Mosquito is disease caused by anopheles bite.
Virus is deadlier because it is highly communicable and breeds speedily.

All this we already know. but MORE people have died and will still probably die of acute Typhoid and malaria out here than Corona and its a DAMN SHAME either way.
