Throwback Video: Dr Stella Nyanzi Bares Breasts In Court After Being Sentenced For Insulting Ugandan President

Ugandan medical anthropologist, feminist, queer rights activist, and scholar of sexuality, family planning, and public health, Dr Stella Nyanzi was sentenced to 8 months in prison after being found guilty of cyber harassment when she, in 2018 posted on Facebook a vulgar birthday poem dedicated to President Yoweri Museveni and his late mother Esteri Kokundeka.

In the poem, Stella used very crude language that left many people shocked. So today she was sent to jail after the judge noted that she has not shown any remorse or learnt her lesson. Meanwhile during the sentencing, Stella destroyed the equipment that was being used to livestream the proceedings from Luzira, undressed and once again nawemula buli omu.

Who is Dr. Stella Nyanzi?
Stella Nyanzi (born 16 June 1974) is a Ugandan medical anthropologist, feminist, queer rights activist, and scholar of sexuality, family planning, and public health. She was arrested in 2017 for insulting the Ugandan president.
