Amy Hart’s dad has exclusively opened up on her surgery, revealing she spent £14,000 on altering her appearance.
Amy has come under fire in recent days in the villa, with her row with Lucie Donlan reaching new heights.
But her dad, funeral service owner Ian, has opened up on his daughter’s appearance on the show, revealing she had a boob job at the age of 21.
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, Ian said of his daughter: “She hasn’t always been as sure of herself as she is now.
“She used to have a low self-confidence.”
Amy, who is coupled up with Curtis Pritchard in the villa, went from a size 34A to a 34DD while working as an air hostess in a bid to boost her confidence.
He said: “Amy has always been an upbeat girl but the size of her chest really got her down when she was growing up. When she decided to have the enhancement we were all very supportive because we knew how much it would boost her confidence.”
Ian then hit back at reports that Amy “begged” her grandparents to cover the cost of the surgery, while denying she had spent £20,000 on her transformation and instead spent closer to £14,000.
He revealed: “She asked them if they could lend her the money, which they happily did because they could see how much it meant to her. Amy paid them back every penny within a year.”
He then revealed Amy has had veneers, but has been warned against having lip fillers.
