Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has stated that Boko Haram abductee Leah Sharibu would soon overcome her travails.

The former Minister made this known as Nigerians commemorate her birthday while she’s still in the captive if the terrorist group.

In a series of tweets, FFK wrote:

“May God continue to be with her and may He grant her freedom from her cruel captors. Millions are with you and are praying for you O Daughter of Zion.

“Blessed are those that are persecuted for their faith. In the fullness of time you shall prevail. Happy birthday Leah Sharibu!

“Today is Leah Sharibu’s birthday. She has been held captive by Boko Haram for over 400 days now simply because she has refused to renounce her Christian faith.

“She is a reference point for courage, strength and faith and a source of inspiration and pride for every believer.”

Leah Sharibu and over a hundred school girls were abducted by Boko Haram last year from their school. The other girls have since even released leaving Leah behind.

Sources say she was held back because she refused to denouce her Christian faith. Nothing has been heard about her since then.
