Premier League clubs are on alert after it emerged Bayer Leverkusen star Julian Brandt has an affordable buyout clause.
BILD says while Brandt penned new terms with Bayer last year, the agreement included a buyout clause set to an affordable €25m.
General opinion has the Germany international’s market price set at €40m.
Liverpool and Arsenal have long been linked with Brandt, who’s dealing with Bayer now run to 2021.
Asked about the buyout option revelation, Bayer chief Rudi Voller would only say: “We do not comment on the contents of contracts.”
