Below is a mugshot of Empire actor Jussie Smollett who got arrested today after he turned himself in.
The actor is facing a felony charge for allegedly filing a false police report. His bail hearing will be taking place later today.
Reports say the two brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo told cops that they staged the attack at the orders of Jussie Smollett. A video from a surveillance camera even shows them buying items used in the attack.

However, his lawyer believes he has the right to be seen as innocent until proven guilty.
“Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked.”
He went on to state that they intend on mounting an aggressive defence for Jussie Smollett.
“Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount an aggressive defense.”
