UPDATE: Instagram is now back up and running.
It’s one of the most popular apps in the world, but it appears that Instagram has crashed for many users.
The problems appear to have started at around 08:00 BST, and are affecting users around the world – including the UK, Australia and Canada.
Several people have taken to DownDetector to report the problem.
Fifty-six per cent said they were having problems with their newsfeed, while 37 per cent said the problem was with log-in, and 6 per cent had problems with the website.
It is unclear what has caused the problems, or when they will be resolved.
Many users have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
Mohin said: “When Instagram is down and every one flocks to Twitter,” along with a cat GIF.
