Earlier today, the Governor thanked the people of Lagos for giving him the opportunity to serve. Tweeting from his official account, he wrote:
365 days ago, I began my journey as the Executive Governor of the Centre of Excellence and the 5th largest economy in Africa.

May 29 of every year was initial reserved to celebrate Democracy day, as it was the day the Military government officially handed over to a democratically elected government in 1999 ending several years of military dictatorship, until June 6, 2018 when President Buhari’s Government officially move it to June 12 to honor the Late MKO Abiola.
