The Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, has declared his intention to seek re-election in the 2019 general election.
The governor declared his interest on Friday during the stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress held in Yelwa Club, Bukuru in Jos.
The Plateau State Commissioner of Information and Communication, Yakubu Dati, confirmed the development to our correspondent.
“Yes, it is true. His Excellency, Governor Simon Bako Lalong has declared his interest to seek re-election in 2019”, the commissioner stated.
