Billie Eilish just did the unthinkable – she showed her swimsuit body. The 18-year-old singer and rising sensation basically comes with #CoveredUp as her trademark, but Friday brought a major change for the “bad guy” singer.
Earlier today, Billie updated her Instagram with a photo and video-heavy summary of a recent Hawaii trip.
The opening snap showed Eilish as you likely know her best – that’s one giant baggy shirt, barely any skin showing, and Billie herself not even facing the camera.
The video showed Billie in a loop. The singer was throwing her head back as she got soaking wet from an outdoor shower spraying water all over her swimsuit-clad body. While the footage didn’t show Billie full-length, it did deliver an unusual amount of skin – not to mention cleavage.
A further video showed Billie enjoying a boat ride with a friend – once again, the star was showcasing her stunning figure in swimwear, with arguably even more on show.
Billie’s neat post also showed her zip-lining, splashing around natural waters, enjoying some solo time on a swing, and catching a rainbow.
The update managed to rack up over 3 million likes in under an hour.
“Been gone,” Billie captioned the post.
Eilish has made it very clear that she isn’t your average flesh-flaunter. In fact, she’s the total opposite. Likely why fans of the teen singer are literally losing their minds.
A comment racking up over 400 likes in 25 minutes best summed up what was already filling the comments section.
“I actually hate y’all like fr she is in Hawaii taking time of having hell of a good time and all you can talk abt are her t*ts are y’all fr now honestly so disturbing I cant.”
To be fair, people had been commenting on the star’s cleavage. That said, many users simply sent Billie the thumbs-up.
Fans likely predicted that a little sexualization would happen, with one user racking up over 390 likes for their comment.
“I stf if y’all just sexualize her imma delete your knee caps,” they wrote.
Billie has opened up about why she hides her body under baggy clothes. Her ad for fashion label Calvin Klein made it all clear.
“That’s why I wear baggy clothes,” she stated, continuing:
“Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can be like, ‘she’s slim-thick,’ ‘she’s not slim-thick,’ ‘she’s got a flat *ss,’ ‘she’s got a fat *ss.’ No one can say any of that because they don’t know.”
Celeb collabs might be a dime a dozen, but brands don’t reach out to stars unless it’s worth their while. The beginning of 2020 saw Billie drop a sustainable merch collection with clothing giant H&M. The range features all the signature looks Eilish is seen in – plenty of green and plenty of baggy, and it’s proving popular.
Speaking of popular, it looks like some celebs noticed Billie’s post today. Likes in the first hour came in from Jennifer Aniston, Jordyn Woods, Hailey Bieber, and Megan Thee Stallion. No like yet from Lady Gaga, though, although Billie did shade the “Bad Romance” singer’s meat dress.
